Hope,
Like tiny bubbles
in the murky depths
of liquid life,
Traveling to the surface
they expand,
Realizing only too late
they have traveled too far
and burst.
WAITING TOOL
A pencil sits poised
waiting to give life.
As a sculptor creates form
from the essence of marble
So the words await
Needing a sculptor of thought.

I’m sending you two short poems, Hope, originally published by New Worlds Unlimited in 1980 and Waiting Tool published by the same publisher in 1988.
Also, I think you are doing a great service for poets and an going to write a post about your site on my blog in the near future.
