Be calm my sweet irrational.
You feel an explosion
twisting every compass rose.
It is normal, when you are so far from home.
Malignant grows with expanse
and the chemotherapy of existence,
in your attempt to forget,
only prolongs the dissolve within.
Patience does nothing.
This ache is a slow empty heart
extending outward into ligaments.
But notice lovely,
how this sadness reminds.
Bitter sweet from pasts present
and in time, you will discover
relief comes with your change.
