About

Poetree Creations was inspired by two people who decided to develop an idea initially from a business course.

The business idea did not develop into a profit-making idea as the current climate did not allow this.

So we decided to take the passion of poetry and develop this creative art and turn it into a workshop and a

successful international poetry website.

By this time we had a committed group of poets who wanted to also promote their work and to have their work

published to the world.

Over a period of two years we grew and eventually gathered 7,000 subscribers.

We found that we had to move to a new website as there wasn’t enough space where we were.

We are developing all of the time and we probably have too many ideas to cope with, however this is the positive side to Poetree Creations.

We would like to thank everyone for following us and would like to wish you you all  good luck in the future and ask you to visit us again, because we are developing like our tree, growing new buds all the time.

We all like to read new poetry, so why not send in  your poetry and join our community. If you would like to send any poetry to us please send to:poetreecreations@yahoo.com

Think positive wherever  you are, and whoever you are,  and always follow your dreams.

  1. I am so grateful you read my blog – seekingmeaningfulness.wordpress.com. I love yours! It is so refreshing and I liked the other comment “a kid in a candy store”, except I would say a bookstore. There are so many wonderful poems and I love that you are welcoming other poets. Cheers to Gillian and Thomas!

It’s been a couple years since I last wrote, but I want to thank you again for following my art and writing blog. Somehow, WordPress disconnected us, so I’m reconnecting.

I am new to this blogging “thing” and my focus was on my students–to have a platform to engage them differently. My husband is the poet. It has been so great to open up and see the amazing talent around. I will have him send some work to poetcreations.

I’ve also been approached by http://www.11restless.com after blogging People Perplex – I think I put it here as well, but I recommend you to other people, even if it is to read rather than write, especially for schools. Thank you for all your work. 🙂

Thank you for visiting and following my blog – love the the idea of a poetree and will be following – my partner and I had a go at creating a poetron which was a sort of steam punk installation for people to add lines or words to an ever growing poem during a festival – no geat literature was produced but a lot of people had a lot of fun!

  47. Thanks for following my blog. I am a little surprised that one interested in poetry would take an interest in my logical blog which defines words like love, empathy, sympathy, commitment, relationships. etc. and applies cold logic to romantic often emotionally laden words. I will never have a poem to send but I wish you the best in your enterprise. Sincerely, Uldis.
