Luck!

Good-Luck

Luck never happens luckily

It has a well-defined itinerary

To reach a target immediately

It may pass by you airily

And if you are a bit lucky

You can grab a puff so quickly

Otherwise, you will lament its fatality

I Am Not a God!

destinyxxxxxxxxxx

I am not a God to hear her silence
I can sense her mind’s ambiance
I am not a God to read her thoughts
I can feel her slightest expressions
I am not a God to foresee her future
I can predict her success and failure
I am not a God to map out her destiny
I can just pray to enjoy her company
I daren’t contradict God’s will
Otherwise, I will lose everything
I am a mere human being
who has a definite margin

Time

timexxx

He who is past his prime
Feels his life has ceased to rhyme
Sees his future a steep climb
Never dares to get off the dime
Too afraid to walk on the slime
Frozen as if mantled with a rime
Does nothing but blame it on time

He who is in his heyday
Has no shame to betray
Who, for him, smoothed the way
And let him hit the bull’s eye
Considering time to be a reliable ally
Alas! “No Mercy” is coming his way
Carrying his own doomsday

You are the kids best companion

Dear teacher,

Young learners eagerly tend to thrive

Into a foreign language they need to dive

They are naturally zealous, curious, energetic, and alive

And sometimes are hyper and loud as if in a beehive

You should scaffold them all along the drive,

Provide them with adequate tools to survive

And consider the appropriate ways you should contrive

Dear teacher,

Young learners are fragile and vulnerable

With affection and care you should handle

With them into language learning you will travel

To stroll around their world that is not ample

But cozy, overwhelming and still humble

Use your magic to make them twinkle

And make their learning setting real and meaningful

Dear teacher,

Young learners are individuals with different smarts

Some use their brains, others use their hearts

Some prefer auditory styles, others fancy kinesthetic arts

Consider these differences when designing lesson parts

And make your objectives clear as if playing darts

Engage them in activities and assign purposeful projects

Make of their performance a shiny surface that reflects

Your successful mission to embrace those sweet hearts

International competition 2012

She is the ocean: The winner of the international poetry competition 2011 – Sponsored by Don Holmes a local Nottingham poet

I love the depth of the ocean

As it matches your gamut of emotions

Darkness, mystery, abundance and
devotion

To those who strive for vilification

I love the vastness of the ocean

As it matches your eyes description

So wide, so pure and lacking fiction

Calling me to dive without vacillation

I love the alterations of the ocean

As it matches your unexpected actions

That makes each scene with different
dimension

To lubricate the wheel of our interaction

I love the breeze of the ocean

As it matches your fascination

I feel King in your captivation

And you are Queen of my passion
