Pastures New

With tints of grey in the sky
Brave yet unsure

Of dawn and all its glory,
New dreams await with passion

The poet with a story,
So pen to pad lets once again

Greet the day anew,
Sunflowers swaying glistening
Moist from new dawns dew,
Other thoughts can wait awhile
I know he would agree,
He would want me kneeling

Tending plants and flowers smiling,
Not crying on my knees

Sweet Ceremony of Love

loversxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ritual touch
Quiet breeze driven afternoon
Senses brought alive
With sweet fingertips
Serenading skin soft sensual
~
Imagine a travel
Shoulder tips
Yearning; sense of response
Breathe quietly letting skin feel
Lips nearby anticipating reaching
The touch curls shoulders close
And fingertips move inside
Nape of neck
A new arousal arises nearby
Cupped hands eager
And skin connects with lips
Glistening from moisture
As my tongue now tastes your beauty
~
A memory will
Create a delicious retelling
An eroticism that accentuates
Our most elegant moments of rapture
~
Grace, eloquent whispers that tease the ear
As hands now dive wantonly wishing only
To continue to move the moment closer
To that reality of love, of release, of passion
~
Such mechanics of human nature
Become magical when Love sweeps alive

She is the ocean: The winner of the international poetry competition 2011 – Sponsored by Don Holmes a local Nottingham poet

I love the depth of the ocean

As it matches your gamut of emotions

Darkness, mystery, abundance and
devotion

To those who strive for vilification

I love the vastness of the ocean

As it matches your eyes description

So wide, so pure and lacking fiction

Calling me to dive without vacillation

I love the alterations of the ocean

As it matches your unexpected actions

That makes each scene with different
dimension

To lubricate the wheel of our interaction

I love the breeze of the ocean

As it matches your fascination

I feel King in your captivation

And you are Queen of my passion
