Top 3 flowers to say “I love you”

ws_I_love_you_forever_1280x960

One of the most meaningful and classic ways of showing your love for someone is giving   flowers, but with all the options out there, it can be hard to choose the bloom that will mean the most to your loved one. However, in a sea of pink and red flowers, there are a few that will get across the best message.

Roses. The number one choice for someone you love is roses. This has always been the case, and there’s a reason for it. Red roses in particular represent love and passion, making them a classic and fitting choice for this holiday.

Lilies. Hopkins Patch reports that sending lilies to someone you love is a perfect way to show someone that you admire them and value them as a friend. However, stargazer lilies are a good bloom to choose along with roses if you really want to impress your loved one

Tulips. According to Patch, pink tulips are a good flower choice for relationships when that aren’t quite at the passionate love stage yet. But Life123.com reports that a red tulip is a “declaration of love” and white ones signify “beautiful eyes.” Given these meanings, giving tulips for a loved one is never a bad idea, either.

Hillside, Narcissus – Promote Yourself

narcissis

There’s a grassy slope not far away
Where thousands of Narcissus bloom,
And I catch my breath, as I watch them sway
Tossing their sweet perfume.

Gaily they nod their dear little heads
And smilingly welcome me,
As they spring up fresh from their winter beds,
Eager for company.

Their round white faces fair and clean
Are purer than frost or snow,
And I thank the hands, tho’ now unseen;
That planted them, long ago.

DISTANCE

Tranquil Sea

Sometimes, the obvious is in front of you! I used a poem in my book above that may be a good addition, please consider:

Her arms waiting, warm inviting water, a floating dream of promise.
Transformed with the years of endless cycles,
Tides in and out, changing surface and angry motion.
You spin and twist, struggling to free yourself from the emotional undertow,
And then you glimpse a tranquil sea.
Other arms reach for you to tame the raging eddy.
Yet her cold tendrils still cling; her acrid, salty taste still coats your heart.
You live entangled.

Dad

fatherhood.mmmmmmmmmmmm

He did everything for me, my brother and sis

Just chatting and watching football is what I really miss

So many great things to get his kicks

Such a fun guy always taking the mick,

He built his business up from scratch

No other man could ever match

His passion for life and love for us,

The love for my mum was so so much

But the day I was told I found it tough

I’ll be gone soon pretty strong stuff,

Too much too young but that is life

I’ll miss you dad until the end of time

FULL STOP

I am too close to the water’s edge
and I wait impatiently to slip in
and succumb.
Let the water pour in and fill every empty space within me.
Let me inhale the cold deep blue –
filling my lungs to their bursting capacity.
For I desire not to thrash and wail,
but to sink, heavy-weighted and
silent, to the sandy bottom.
Let me gracefully and languidly
find that desperate peace beneath
the dark depths, where no light dares penetrate.
Why long for such finality? Such conclusion?
There is a solemn quiet down below.
A silence that calms the worrying voice.
An end awaits, more grand than the one he refuses.
And I long to have it — that full stop.
Sink
and
sink.
When I am finished
and I nourish the sea,
return me to the heavens.
For the one I seek is not here.
And they told me so all along.

Sparkling – Promote Yourself

spark
Under your drift seeming to take me
Using me incessantly to wake me

More latent than beaming in the wise
Much streaming in a disgiuse

Touch me and see me yearning to reach
Tease the romancing in my teaching

Loose is my dreaming of your sea
Luring and exhalting me to be

Kept deeming in the practice
Crafts me instilling purpose

Still reading the signs of your bread
Seasons obligating me to send and

Work me Learning to be bred
Ways so mature and instead
Of breaking me, you make me
into Sparkling.
